PRIVACY NOTICE · LAST UPDATED OCTOBER 9, 2026
Your case information is for reviewing your case.
Who handles the information
Bad Bear Repair LLC, a Missouri limited liability company based in Warrensburg, Missouri, operates Bad Bear Second Opinion and controls the case information submitted through this site.
What is collected
The screening form collects the contact, vehicle, symptom, repair, and decision information you enter, plus any estimates, scan reports, or photos you choose to upload. Basic technical request information may also be processed to operate and protect the website.
How it is used
The information is used to receive, screen, review, and respond to your case; communicate about the service; maintain business records; and protect the website from misuse. It is not sold.
What not to upload
Do not submit payment-card numbers, Social Security numbers, medical information, passwords, or unrelated personal documents. Remove unrelated personal information from repair paperwork when practical.
Storage and service providers
Case details and attachments are stored with the website’s hosting and storage providers so Bad Bear Repair can review them. Email and phone providers process communications when those methods are used.
How long information is kept
New or declined free-screening cases are ordinarily deleted after 90 days. Detailed paid-case records and attachments are ordinarily deleted one year after the case closes. Active cases are not automatically deleted while work is ongoing. A minimal business record—such as the case number, customer name, amount, and payment, refund, or waiver dates—is kept through four full calendar years after the relevant transaction year. A record may be kept longer when reasonably needed for security, legal, or business-record purposes.
Deleted case information may remain in older private backups until those backups are deleted.
Access, correction, or deletion
To ask for a copy, correction, or deletion of your submitted information, email askbadbear@gmail.com and include the case number when available. Some records may be retained when reasonably needed for security, legal, or business-record purposes.
