Clear limits make an honest service.

Who provides the service

Bad Bear Second Opinion is provided by Bad Bear Repair LLC, a Missouri limited liability company based in Warrensburg, Missouri.

What the free screening is

Submitting a case asks Bad Bear Repair to decide whether the information provided can support a useful remote second opinion. Submission is free, creates no obligation, and does not mean the case has been accepted. If a case is declined, nothing is owed.

What a second opinion is—and is not

The service reviews the symptoms, documents, codes, estimates, photos, and test results you provide. It may explain what the evidence supports, identify missing tests, and suggest questions or next steps. It is not a physical inspection, repair, safety certification, warranty, or guaranteed diagnosis.

Before any payment

If the case appears suitable, you will receive the proposed scope, price, expected turnaround, and any case-specific limits before choosing whether to proceed. No payment is taken through the free screening form, and no paid work begins without your approval.

Turnaround and missing information

The stated turnaround begins after payment and all requested information is received. A request for missing information pauses that timing. A case may be closed after 14 days without a response.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancel before work begins for a full refund. After the review begins, the fee is nonrefundable if the customer cancels. If Bad Bear Repair determines that a useful review cannot be completed, the payment will be refunded in full.

Changes to the requested work

Another vehicle or a substantially different concern requires a separate case, screening, and price.

Safety and decisions

Do not rely on a remote review when a vehicle may be unsafe to drive. Stop driving and arrange an in-person inspection or tow. You remain responsible for repair, driving, and purchasing decisions; a qualified person must perform any hands-on testing or repair.

Accuracy of information

The usefulness of a review depends on the completeness and accuracy of the information supplied. Bad Bear Repair may decline a case or explain that the evidence is insufficient rather than guess.
